Congrats to the Beta Xi Newly Alumnae and Graduates of 2014!

The Alpha Chi Omega Beta Xi chapter is proud to announce the newly alumnae and graduates of our chapter. Congrats Utah State Alpha Chi Graduates! It's truly such a bitter sweet moment to leave a place you have built so many friendships and made many memories at. I think we can all agree that college isn't easy, but it sure is worth it. Earning a degree is defiantly recognized as a major accomplishment!
Congrats once again to our sisters who have graduated Spring 2014 and good luck on all your future endeavors! L&L

2014 Graduates

Chelsea Bergstrom

I am graduating with my Bachelors Degree in Parks and Recreation. I am moving to Salt Lake City after graduation for an internship at Wheeler Farm I hope after my internship to have a job in event planning at a resort. I loved my time in Alpha Chi, it was definitely one of the best decisions I made in college. I met some of my best friends, and have come out of my experience a better leader and communicator. Ill miss USU, Logan, and Alpha Chi dearly, but am super excited to start the rest of my life!

Elizabeth Horne

I joined Alpha Chi Omega my first semester in college (fall 2010!) I knew AXO was the right fit for me as soon as I walked in the front door on House Tours night during formal recruitment. The first few weeks of my freshmen year were very tough on me and I wasn't sure if Utah State was the right decision. Alpha Chi provided a home away from home and a support system that I can always count on being there. The sister-friends that I made within the first few days of accepting my bid were the reasons why I chose to remain at Utah State after the first semester, and without them I don't know where I would be. I received my bachelors degree in Geology this last fall 2013 and since graduation I have been working in Houston Texas as a gap-year intern at ConocoPhillips. I'm a Geoscience Research Assistant within the Structural Interpretation and Geomechanics Technology Group at the company headquarters and I will compete this internship in August right before I begin my masters degree in Structural Geology at Colorado School of Mines. Alpha Chi Omega has made a impact on my life. This organization taught me how to lead by example, effectively manage my time, and the importance of giving back to the community. AXO has not only helped me develop as a student, but as a person. I know I wouldn't be where I am today if I didn't choose to attend recruitment my freshmen year, and I am so thankful to be a member of this organization.

Carly Crosby

I'm graduating with a bachelors of arts in creative writing with an art minor. I am very excited to start my career path as an editor in the commercial fiction industry. New York is going to be so fun and such an adventure with such a big change. Alpha Chi Omega has meant so much to me in the two and a half years that I've had. Our ritual inspires me to be continually better in my relationships, to seek the heights of my aspirations and to always seek learning and love in all that I do. My sisters have taught me so much and really shown me the true meaning of sisterhood. I'm hoping to continue my involvement with Alpha Chi Omega as an alumnae through my local alumn chapter and through staying involved with my lovely Beta Xi alumnae. I owe this organization so much of my growth as a person, I've gained so many leadership, organizational, life and relationship skills at alpha chi that I will always look fondly on my time here. I've been so pleasantly surprised over the years by how much devotion and love these women have within them and I can not wait to in turn put that out into the world. I love you all dearly, congratulations to all my fellow graduates, I will miss all of you so much. I can't wait to see you in your successes in the future. With love, Carly 1964

Caitlyn Lewis

I am graduating with a major in communication studies! I joined Alpha Chi Omega in the fall of 2011. Alpha Chi Omega has given me the opportunity to meet amazing young ladies from all over.
Being part of something bigger than yourself is special.

Jessica Christensen

I got my BS in Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning with a minor in Ornamental Horticulture. Throughout my college experience I was involved in the College of Agriculture Council as Club VP, and a member of American Society of Landscape Architects, where I was in charge of our chapter's community design team. I joined Alpha Chi Omega fall semester of 2013.With great confidence, I credit Alpha Chi Omega for the person I became this year. This year as an Alpha Chi has notably matured me in ways I didn't know I needed. I have never felt so much confidence from others and for myself as I have this year. Before this year, I hadn't fathomed the value and support that a sisterhood could bring. It freed me. I was motivated to try hard things because I was confident that my sisters would have my back regardless of the outcome. I will forever be grateful to my sisters of the Beta Xi chapter for their sweet souls and impact they all had on me. They all are real, strong women, and I have been inspired by each and every one of them. To me, Alpha Chi Omega means growth. Seeking. I know my time as an active member was short, but I know I will forever be wearing my letters, and forever seeking the heights. ~ Jessica

Jamie Lynne Maurice

I'm a senior and I joined fall 2012. I graduated in Special Education with Hannah Leve. I just got hired at Cache High as their Special Education teacher soooo my future plans are to stay in Logan with my husband and teach and maybe go back and get a Masters in behavior management. Maybe. I love Alpha Chi because they were there for me before they really knew me and I have made some great friends.

Whitney Nicole Negrete

I Graduated in interdisciplinary studies with an emphasis in communications & physical education professional. (Bachelor's Degree in Humanities & Social Sciences). I joined Alpha Chi Spring 2011 I would not have stayed up here if it were not for Alpha Chi. I have learned a lot about myself, and it has helped me grow as a person. While in Alpha Chi Omega I have been on the CRS board, V.P. Finance, Greek council, Public Relations, Greek Ambassador, and a facilitator for Greek leadership weekend. I am glad I had all these opportunities in Alpha Chi and the Greek community! Alpha Chi gave me the confidence in my abilities and the women pushed me to believe in myself & become a better person. For that Alpha Chi holds a place dear in my heart & it has helped me in ways I never imagined.
My ultimate goal is to work for the NFL either in their corporate office or the San Francisco 49ers. Also, I plan to move out of Utah as soon as possible to a place with a big city. My immediate plans are to move back to Salt Lake to work at a country club and work as an intern with REAL Salt Lake (Utah's major league soccer team.)
I will miss all my sisters & the fun memories we have had. Most of all I will miss my birdies sisters from Spring 2011, they are my best friends and there for me no matter what. We had our ups and downs, but when I think of the word sister & what it means to be a sister these are the women who come to my mind, I will also miss all the Greek members I have met since up here & the impact they have had in my life. The last thing I will miss is the sports games here at USU. Some of my favorite memories come from those games! Go Aggies!! ~Whit

Ileana Borunda

I am graduating Utah State with a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast Journalism, and a minor in Psychology. While a member of Alpha Chi Omega I served on the CRS board for two years, and was V.P. CRS for one year!
I'm planning on moving home to L.A. to pursue work in the entertainment industry. Alpha Chi has given more in the past 4 years, than I could have ever imagined. I became the person I am today during my time in Alpha Chi Omega and have made friendships that I will carry with me the rest of my life.

Mckenna Marie Fenton

I studied marketing at the Jon Huntsman Business School. Alpha Chi and college have changed me so much for the better. I was able to find myself and decide who I wanted to be after school. Holding exec positions in Alpha Chi is invaluable and I would recommend that for creating the best Alpha Chi experience possible. As I move to Seattle to work for Nordstrom corporate headquarters, I want to tell the Alpha Chis to cherish every moment you have with your sisters, and know you are making lifelong friends!

Alpha Chi Omega Newly Alumnae

Katie Haberstock

Katie is a sister to be admired when it comes to school! She received the stand out scholar award for 2014!

Le Vu

I will be graduating with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Marketing. After graduating, I hope to become an event planner either in Las Vegas or New York City! Wish me luck!

"It's so bittersweet to be leaving this organization that has been such a huge part of my collegiate experience. But now it's time for me to move along to bigger things and allow the wonderful young ladies in our chapter to step up and continue to build on the legacy the seniors and I have left. I challenge you ladies to understand our ritual and try to live a part of our symphony each and everyday. Smile often and don't let the small things get you down. You only experience this once so give it your all! L&L" -Le

Lacey Jensen

I joined Alpha Chi Omega in Fall 2010. Alpha Chi means so much to me because I met an amazing group of girls and some of the best friends I've ever had. I never thought an organization could really be "life-long" like it's said but to know that Alpha Chi has made me a better person, there is no way I could ever forget about my experience here and what it has done for my future.
I graduate next spring with majors in Business Administration and Marketing with a minor in HR. I still have no idea what my future hold (I totally thought I would have it figured out long before now) so I'm kind of just going day to day and see where it leads me! Right now I have two amazing jobs. One is as a special needs aide at an elementary school and the other one is at Renegade Sports in the Accounting and Financing offices. I would like to pursue a career similar to the one I have at Renegade. But I want to move somewhere where it never snows and is always at lease 80 degrees! -Lacey

Congrats to the sisters that have graduated this past Saturday, and we are also proud of the sisters who will be graduating at the end of this year! We wish you the best in all you do and especially your next future plans.

The amazing thing about sisterhood is that our bonds can never be broken. As sisters we have your back where ever you will go! We will celebrate with you when we see your next accomplishments, we will be there for you when things don't go as perfectly as planned, and we will forever have your back!

The seniors of 2014 have left a legacy at Alpha Chi Omega Beta Xi, and even though it is hard to see you go. The younger class has learned from the best, and will strive to walk in your footsteps. We love you seniors and we will never forget the impact you have made on our chapter. L&L

To my sisters:

P.S. Congrats on surviving finals and finishing this semester off everybody!  Please have a safe and wonderful summer! L&L!
